Awarding bodies
Training Plus merseyside is an approved centre with two awarding bodies:
- City and Guilds
- Education Development International (EDI)
We follow national quality guidelines as well as our own strict internal standards, focussing on the following key areas:
Teaching delivery
We ensure the highest quality of teaching by:
- recruiting highly competent staff
- delivering comprehensive staff induction
- undertaking regular assessments, reviews and observations of training and staff
- liaising regularly with awarding bodies, professional bodies and partner organisations
Key Skills and Skills for Life
We provide high quality for our clients by embedding of appropriate Key Skills and Skills for Life into their vocational training programmes, alongside additional specialised training in English and Maths.
We place Functional Skills development at the heart of Equality and Diversity and in doing so foster the development of essential skills for everyday work and life
