Shared vision reaps rewards for learners

BA Learners receiving their qualification certificatesCollaboration with Liverpool City Council, Diversity & Social Inclusion (DSI) Team is reaping qualification successes for students.
Matthew (pictured third from left) is the first of a group of students on work placements with Liverpool City Council to achieve a qualification in Business Administration. At an achievement presentation on Wednesday 6th August at Training Plus merseyside offices, Matthew said:
“I am really pleased to have achieved this qualification. After being in and out of college for a couple of years, without success, I finally stuck at something and achieved it. It has kept me off the streets too! It is also down to the support of my Connexions Advisor, the professional people at the DSI, Council Officers, my mentor Claire Kelly and my Assessor Ollie that have supported me over the last 10 months”.
Ollie Brown (pictured second from left) who manages the Business and Administration Programme at Training Plus merseyside said “Matthew has worked professionally and tirelessly for this award and should be proud of his early achievement”.

The achievers were presented their certificates by Trainer, Susan Duffy and Assessor Gemma Vickery.
Lauren Allen (pictured far left) and Stephanie Owen (pictured second from right) were amongst some of the other learners who completed their various qualification frameworks in Business and Administration during July.
Stephanie Owen has recently been successful in an application to the post of trainee receptionist here at Training Plus merseyside and will now progress on to an Avanced Apprenticeship as part of her professional training with the Company.
