TPM - Training Plus merseyside

The show; one of the most important dates in the tpm calendar will not disappoint in 2010.

Entitled Sustainable Seasons; the show will comprise four live hair competitions entitiled Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and all themed on sustaining our planet and the environment.

The audience will bear witness to some extraordinarily original hair creations performed live by Training Plus Merseyside’s trainees.

Each competitor will bring their own interpretation of the competition themes to life in their model’s hair. Don't miss it; get your tickets ordered now!

tpm Open Day is an opportunity for young people getting ready to leave school and considering an Apprenticeship in Childcare, Hairdressing or Business Administration to come and meet us. In 2009 over 250 young people and their parents attended.

This is a great opportunity to meet and talk to staff and current Apprentices in these occupations; maybe even see a demonstration on practicing basic hairdressing techniques; trying out hairstyles using computer software; how to hold an infant using an interactive doll; communication skills using telephone training systems.

Refreshments will be served and all training suite facilities will be laid open. All teaching, assessment, recruitment and support staff will be on hand with advice, support and guidance. Current Apprentices will be available to meet parents and young people alongside employers who will also kindly give their time and expertise to support the event and chat with prospective new recruits for their businesses.

Applications will be available on the day and young people meeting the criteria will be offered interview appointments during May and June as they become eligible for work and training.
