| A celebration evening at the Liverpool Maritime Museum from 6-8.30pm will invite young people from the Hospitality, Retail, Sports & Leisure and Tourism sectors. The evening is a celebration of young people who have studied our rich Liverpool culture as part of their vocational qualification and achieved a Capital of Culture Badged Apprenticeship during this auspicious time in our local history. | |

Learner event: DIUS/LSC Ministerial Review - Minimising inequalities in Apprenticeships
| As part of this review, Ecotec has been commissioned by the LSC to undertake a series of focus groups with existing and potential apprentices from under-represented groups, in order to develop an understanding of the barriers and issues they have to contend with. Training Plus mereyside has arranged three one hour focus groups which will canvass the views of learners from Black and ethnic minority communities; Men in non-traditional vocations and those with a learning difficulty or disability. The groups run in this order at 1030-1130, 1200-1300 and 1330-1430pm . | |

Learner event: Aim Higher Presentation
|
Alana Clough, the Development Officer for Aimhigher will present 2 one hour sessions on Higher Education and the options that are available to level 3 qualified nursery nurses. The details of Level 4 and higher qualifications that are available at local universities will be presented and discussed as well as the diversity of jobs available to level 3 graduates aiming higher. |
