As the general manager of Barbara Daley Hair & Beauty I have worked closely with Training Plus merseyside since February 2002. They help us recruit and train apprentices. Apprenticeships work for us because they offer a flexible way of training staff and quickly introduce student hairdressers to good salon practices and culture. This includes the development of social and personal skills as well as technical training whilst giving Barbara a framework to maintain the standards of practical training and skills.

29 of Barbara Daley’s professional hairdressers have achieved their qualifications with Training Plus merseyside over the last 6 years. What we most value about Training Plus merseyside’s service is their regular communication and liaison over the progression of our staff training which is always professionally executed. Each month I receive detailed feedback on each student.
