Training Plus Merseyside is one of the companies that we have used for training our apprentices over the years. Due to excellent results they have become the only training provider that we will work with. As the Lead Manager for three of our nurseries I recognise and appreciate that our apprentices always qualify readily through quality training in the real working environment. Similarly it is important to me that our apprentices achieve well and enjoy their off-site training. 30 of our staff have achieved their professional qualifications with Training Plus Merseyside during the last seven years and we particularly value the additional free training that apprentices receive such as Paediatric First Aid, Equality and Diversity and HIV Awareness.
As a business manager, I value the level of support I receive from Training Plus Merseyside’s directors, managers and assessors; I am always kept fully informed on the progress of our apprentices. The off-site technical and theoretical work completed at the college is always interesting and relevant to the students’ role in the nursery and ensures they stay abreast of current legislation. I am always included in work-based assessments and when reviewing student progression; I am always consulted on the training/assessment plan and any development required.
The staff at Training Plus Merseyside are very supportive; we know we can always call get help when we need it and staff don’t hesitate to visit us here in the workplace if we need them.
What would I say to other employers about Training Plus Merseyside? You should definitely use them; transfer apprentices to them if you need to; they are the only training provider we use now and never have a problem.
Three words that sum up Training Plus Merseyside for me are: Excellent, Excellent, Excellent.
