Name: Claire Naughton
Role: Claims and Finance Manager

I’m one of Training Plus merseyside’s many success stories. I joined as a business and administration level 2 trainee, straight from sixth form college and eleven years later, I’m the claims and finance manager. My main responsibilities are managing the company’s daily accounts and processing government-funded learning contracts. My work involves managing bespoke electronic data-storage, retrieval and most importantly analysis of data trends.

My qualifications include: Advanced Business & Administration, Advanced Customer Service and foundation AAT diploma, and I’m currently working towards the intermediate diploma. My planned professional development for 2008 includes a level 4 management qualification. All of my professional qualifications have been sponsored by my employer. The professional development I’ve received is the reason why I have stayed in this company.

What I most value about my company is that everyone wants to make a real difference and is working towards the same goal. Three words that best describe Training Plus for me are: welcoming, committed and supportive.
