I’ve been Learner Vacancy Co-ordinator at Training Plus merseyside for just under a year. My role is to generate new business and secure vacancies for our learners. Like all the staff atTraining Plus merseyside, I’m passionate about helping young people find a career. I have an HND in business & finance and BA (Hons) in business, administration & management which along with my previous experience provides me with the skills to identify suitable companies within which to place our clients.
Before joining here, I worked in London. After returning to Liverpool, I used to pass Training Plus merseyside often and wonder what they did. Then I saw a job with them advertised in the local paper. I thought it sounded great so I applied and ended up getting the job.
My company truly practices what it preaches. They actively promote equality and diversity, not because they are legally bound to but because they really believe it is right. I am a visually impaired man of Chinese heritage and at Training Plus merseyside I have felt valued and respected whilst all my support needs have always been met. As a former executive with some of the world’s leading organisations, I will safely say that the work environment, ethos and professionalism here is the best I have experienced in my career.
Our clients receive an extremely professional and effective service whilst enjoying very good working relationships with us. We are regularly rewarded with repeat business. Training Plus merseyside received a grade 2 ‘Good Provision’ in our OFSTED inspection which reflects this commitment to service, opportunity and excellence.
