Eligibility and funding

Apprenticeships

  • Apprentices must be at least of school leaving age
  • Government funding pays for the full cost of training for apprentices aged 16 – 18
  • Employer contributions or alternative funding sources may be required for older apprentices
  • Apprentices do not need any formal qualifications to start on TPM courses
  • Apprentices must show commitment to punctuality, completion and excellent attendance
  • Employers who wish to enrol staff on apprenticeship programmes must meet certain criteria

Train to Gain

Train to Gain funding is usually available for employers to train staff who have not achieved a level 2 qualification. There is also funding towards level 3 training. For full details on Train to Gain funding and eligibility please contact us.

Foundation Diploma in Society, Health and Development

The Foundation Diploma is for school pupils aged 14 to 18 and is fully funded.
